Case study: a custom-built welding table. The CUBEWELD modular solution at Protekt

System modułowy CUBEWELD w Protekt

Every implementation begins with a specific challenge. At Protekt — one of the leaders in manufacturing equipment that protects workers’ health and lives — the challenge was to create a welding station that would be stable, precise, and flexible enough to handle both various component sizes and the changing nature of production.

From discussions to design — how the solution was created

We started the process with a meeting and an analysis of how work is carried out on Protekt’s production floor. We checked:
– which components are welded most frequently,
– where operators have limited access,
– what limitations the previous table created.

Based on this, we jointly prepared a 3D design of an irregular table that “opened up” the workstation and allowed free access to key points of the components.

This wasn’t a catalog table — it was built using 400 × 400 mm modules that can be freely connected, moved, and expanded. It’s the modularity of CUBEWELD that allowed us to design a shape perfectly tailored to Protekt’s production process.

Implementation results

In this implementation, we managed to combine: structural requirements, operator ergonomics, precision, and the flexibility of a modular system.

What does the final result look like? You can see it in the video we prepared: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5yKTH6RbA0
